Participate in the 2nd annual Canal Fulton Library Tabletop Christmas Tree event. Trees will be offered for free, on a first come, first serve basis to those who would like to decorate the tree and then donate back to the library for the silent auction. Pick up a tree starting November 1st. trees will then be bid upon during a silent auction November 21 - December 5, 2009. For more information, please contact the library 330.854.4148. This is a fundraiser provided by the Friends of the Library, who support Library activities with their volunteering and donations.

In response to a $200,000 reduction in state funding, the Canal Fulton Public Library has been forced to make cuts in purchases of books and other materials, and the Library will not be able to set aside funds for building improvements. Small reductions in other areas will also be necessary. We hope that our patrons do not experience any disruption or reduction in service. For the balance of 2009, we do not anticipate any cuts in staff or hours of operation. The Board will continue to closely monitor spending.
