Children’s Program Specialist I
The Canal Fulton Public Library is seeking a dynamic and creative Children’s Programming Specialist who will provide early literacy experiences, develop school-age readers and life-long learners, provide children’s reference and reader’s advisory services, and connect with parents and caregivers. The Children’s Programming Specialist will develop and conduct creative children’s programs, and promote library services and overall library objectives. Must have knowledge of children’s literature.
This is a part-time, average of 26 hour a week position. The pay range is $12.92 – $19.79 dependent on qualifications and experience. The usual schedule would be:
Monday & Wednesday 12 to 7
Tuesday & Thursday 9 to 1
Friday 9 to 4 or rotational Saturday 9 to 6

Customer Service Specialist I
The Canal Fulton Public Library is looking for a friendly, energetic and customer-oriented individual to serve our library community as a Customer Service Specialist. This position is primarily in the Children’s Services department, but works in other departments as needed. Customer Service Specialists participate in the operation of a full-service circulation desk, shelves materials, maintains order of materials, and provides excellent service to patrons of all ages. Candidates with library experience are preferred. The successful candidate will start at $9.69 an hour and work an average of 12 hours per week. Interested individuals should complete an application by March 9th for first consideration. The position is open until filled.
The usual schedule would be:
Monday -Thursday 4 to 7
Rotational Saturday 9 to 6
